Vic's Waffle House, located in Tewksbury at 283 Old Main St. (Route 38), was recognized as Massachusett's best hidden gem for breakfast by Cheapism's "Best Hole-in-the-Wall Breakfast Place in Every State."
According to the report, the eatery serves up waffles that are "anything but ordinary." Choices offered on the restaurant's menu include waffles loaded with fresh fruit such as peaches and apples; a bacon-stuffed waffle topped with bananas and peanut butter known as the "Elvis Waffle"; and a "Sports Bar Sundae Waffle" covered with ice cream, bananas, strawberries, walnuts, and whipped cream.
The breakfast joint doesn't stop at waffles, though; visitors can also order delicious meals such as homemade corned beef hash, breakfast sandwiches, omelets, and more. The eatery also makes its own orange juice.
In addition to impressing Cheapism, the restaurant's combination of tasty breakfast and good service has also left several Yelp reviewers very satisfied, as evidenced by the number of raving reviews left for the place.
"Ordered pancakes, eggs, turkey sausage, and waffles they were all great," wrote Alex A. in a five-star review, also adding, "Service was fantastic and everyone was super nice. The place was super clean as well."
Ester O. also praised the location, writing, "Wow, if you're looking for a delicious breakfast spot with exceptional service - this is it!... I honestly wish I took a photo of the food, but it looked too good to wait."
